January 11th, 2024

Pulling out a little PB Shells for the quote today. Winter always looks enjoyable and sometimes romantic through the eyes of a poet. Movies can also make snowy scenes look enticing.

Unfortunately this weekend isn’t a poem and next week won’t be in a movie. The next several days are going to be a fine example of winter in Chicagoland.
Pretend you are a poet and retaliate the cold with vigor and enthusiasm.
Strut across the snow like it’s a scene from a rom/com and you are the main actor in the movie. Your co-star is the actor or actress that you have a crush on.
For me it is Julia Roberts and we won’t be bothered by the cold because we are warmed by romance.
Unfortunately there won’t be a film crew in Riverside this weekend and Julia is happily married.
The only thing I’m hooking up with over the long weekend is my crockpot. The only passion this weekend will be with a pot roast.
It’s wintertime in the big city and it happens every year. Spring is fast approaching and the days are noticeably getting longer. I’m not sure if my shadow is getting shorter because the sun hasn’t been around much this year.
Enjoy the snow, the cold, the marinated meat and the egg noodles.
Listen for George Harrison, he always tells us when the sun is coming little darlings.
