Real quick….. let’s have a Donald Shepley grammar lesson. Today’s quote has the word “effect” in it. Before Siri and spelling check made life easier… we had to look things up or there would be a red ink slash on your homework.
Effect or affect was always associated with a red ink slash until my dad finally set me straight.
“Son, affect is a fucking action and effect is a fucking result!”
I never had a red slash through those words ever again.
Everyday we either win or lose. A good day is a win and a bad day is a loss. Sometimes the results are due to luck, but for the most part our effort and attitude gets us through the day.
Things happen for a reason and the day I realized this to be true was the day I removed my head out of my ass.
I'm a French Toast guy….. waffles are fantastic.... Pancakes…. Always a great breakfast decision, but French toast…. French toast takes life to a higher level.
I can still remember the first time I made French toast in my own place. That’s when I knew I was finally an adult. I Love French Toast!
