I’m sitting here with Thursday staring me down. Not feeling to enthusiastic about how Wednesday went and not to thrilled about the up coming weekend.
Today I took a quote from "Both Sides Now."
I was laying on a blanket in the grass with a twenty month old Hazel. We were looking up at a beautiful spring sky. Just laying there watching the fluffy white clouds pass along a blue April day.
It was the first time Hazel and I enjoyed finding shapes in clouds.
These next couple days will see the last sunsets before five o'clock. We won't have another pre 5:00pm sunset until next November. Unfortunately the clouds will get in the way of today's sunrise. The sun will rise over Lake Michigan, we just won't see it.
I can't believe it's been thirty seven years since the Bears won XX. That game kind of created a both sides now moment. Before that game the Bears were horrible and guess what.... since that game.... the Bears have been horrible.
I gotta get my windshield wiper fixed... until I do, it's hard to see ahead of me. Pretty symbolic on how life goes. Crap gets on our windshield and blocks the view. Life is all about keeping the wiper fluid full and the blades tight.
