Late start on this last Sunday of 2021. Sunday Funday is a bonus after Christmas Day.
I told a guy last March I wanted to come to his home as Santa Claus. We laughed the other day because I also said, “Christmas will be here before we know it.”
Now Christmas 2021 sits on the top of the pile of Christmas past.
So today I say, “The home opener will be here before we know it.”
Though it might be postponed…. Not because of the current lockout, but because of snow.
Yesterday I sat outside with the warm sun on my face. I smoked my Christmas cigar with just a sweater in fifty degree weather.
I’ll be sitting in Sox Park next May wearing a parka and long underwear!
