Short and sweet today.
The weather is holding true to form…
...hot, humid, and thunderstorms are here to usher in the new season.
Summer is waiting just outside the door. Bringing the longest day and the shortest shadows on Friday.
It also happens to be National Root Beer Day, and around here, we are a Barq’s family.
Another 5:15 a.m. sunrise, relish in it. Come December, when the sun clocks out at 4:19 p.m., you will be wishing you could trade.
Soak in the season while you can. Take an umbrella and listen, really listen to the raindrops tap dancing on the late spring leaves. The sound is astonishing. It is the summer version of the hush that comes with falling snow in December.
God gave us four seasons for a reason.
Don’t let Vivaldi be the only one who finds astonishment in all four of them.
